Bartender 3

Because Eddie app runs as root, and Bartender runs as a normal user level app we do not have access to its preferences (so cannot control its menu item).

We recommend you set Eddie to "Always show in menu bar" in Bartender Preferences.

Then Quit Bartender and ⌘+drag the Eddie menu item in the menu bar so that it gets set a visible position.

Restart Bartender and Eddie should remain visible and Bartender should not try and control it.
