The transition should not be noticably slow, this can be caused by Bartender not being able to move an item, and it hitting its timeout in trying. Bartender will attempt to move this item a number of times, and then stop trying and the transition speed should then improve. You can see if this is the case in Bartender preferences. The item Bartender can not control will have a ⚠️ symbol by its name in Bartender Preferences, as a first step we recommend restarting the app in question.
